You shouldn’t have to paste your work into the conversation first.
The current beta starts with a simple idea: your work context should be available to the conversation without making you rebuild it by hand every time.

Yevr’s Today view pulls together supported context that may deserve attention. From there, you can ask follow-up questions in the same conversation instead of starting over with a blank prompt.

Persistent conversations keep the thread of what you have already discussed. Yevr still depends on the context it can retrieve, so the answer is a starting point, not a claim that every relevant item was found.
Current access
Here is exactly what the private beta can and cannot do.

Not available in the hosted beta
- Sending or drafting Gmail
- Creating or editing Calendar events
- Writing or editing Drive files
- Autonomous Google actions
- Hosted commercial voice
Connecting Google Workspace gives Yevr bounded read access to supported data. It does not authorize Yevr to take actions in those services. Google verification and security-assessment work are still in progress, so access remains limited to approved private-beta accounts.
A note from Johnathon
The beta is narrow on purpose.
I don’t want Yevr to be another chat box that makes you explain your day from scratch, and I don’t want “connected” to quietly mean “allowed to do anything.” Right now the job is simpler: read the work you approve, help you understand what deserves attention, and keep the boundaries obvious while we make the Google integration more reliable.
